KATHMANDU: Rastriya Ekata Abhiyan has welcomed the government’s statement to form and publicize its official position on the Nepal-China border dispute after studying the issue.

In a statement on Monday, the Abhiyan said he welcomed government spokesman and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who announced the government’s decision to form an official position of the government on Chinese encroachment on Nepalese territory along the northern border.

The statement said it is the common responsibility of ordinary citizens to raise their voices against the Chinese side’s continued encroachment on Nepalese lands.
