Tribute to Nigerian multi-billionaire and political icon, Keniebi Okoko

LAGOS, NIGERIA, October 5, 2021 / – The legacy of the late multi-billionaire businessman and politician, Pastor Keniebi Okoko (1978 – 2020), is expected to be curated and made public via a commemorative microsite launched in October.

A graduate of the prestigious Harvard Business Law, Okoko shone brilliantly in the business world, where he quickly established himself in the oil and gas sector, before venturing into the volatile political space in 2019, led by a desire to enrich and erase the Bayelsans. the poverty mentality of the masses.

Prior to his untimely demise at age 42, Okoko had an unprecedented and significant impact in the socio-political space of the tumultuous Niger Delta, particularly in Bayelsa where he was from and unsuccessfully but remarkably aspired to be the youngest governor in the state in 2019.

Okoko was known to promote education, empower the young and the less privileged in society; and had a good chance of winning the governors’ election, as the community and bridge builder that he was if he hadn’t lost the party primaries.

The commemorative microsite should serve as an inspiration to many, especially young people, and will present the many impacts he has had in the short span of time he has experienced.

Other features of the website are current testimonials from beneficiaries of its empowerment programs, its plans for the state as an aspiring governor, its life philosophies as captured in its many public appearances and speeches, among other short documentaries.
